Granger & Co. : an Australian spot in the heart of Notting Hill

Huge, radiant windows, teak ceiling, lemon yellow chairs, Granger and Co. has a relaxed but elegant Californian vibe created by the Australian owner. It is the place of choice for Notting Hill moms for brunch. Strollers roll easily between tables and, while you enjoy a plate of fresh food, children enjoy their own mini-versions from the menu.

The Décor
His first address in London, Australian Bill Granger (restaurateur and cookbook author) has many restaurants including ones in Seoul, Tokyo, and Honolulu. All spots share his tasty and fresh recipes: such as eggs cooked to perfection; we find Granger and Co. to have a special atmosphere, a mix of elegance and relaxation. Here you will find a combination of chic moms in the neighborhood, tourists who stroll through the colorful streets of Notting Hill, families reunited for brunch, and business men all of whom are looking for a healthy bite.

The Food
At all hours of the day, the menu offers yummy dishes. For breakfast or brunch, we suggest the fresh-pressed juices which are filled with vitamins, hard boiled eggs which are to die for, a delicious corn gallette with an avacado salad, or dive into any of the enticing sweets. For lunch, you have the difficult choice between salads, hot dishes, sandwiches, and a number of vegetarian options. For a snack break, give in to the cakes, like pistachio-fudge cake or the decadent banoffee pie.

For Kids
Strollers slide through the space easily, but be warned that high-chairs are in high demand during lunch time. The servers are accustomed to families and they will bend over backwards to perfect your gourmet break.

We Love …
… to settle into the comfortable booths for a late-lunch and watch the animation of this commercial street through the huge windows.
