Barber & Parlour : a hybrid concept store in the heart of Shoreditch

The latest addition to the the Soho House company: Barber & Parlour is a new, versatile concept store in Shoreditch, which offers a beauty salon, barber,  cinema, and restaurant for either a quick bite or a gourmet meal. Treat yourself to a manicure while the kids enjoy a brownie on the comfortable Chesterfieldsofas with their dad on the second floor.

The Location
An inspired hybrid of everything a trendy family needs, Barber & Parlour is a unique place in the heart of Shoreditch which combines restaurant-bar, organic epicerie, beauty salon, barber, and cinema. On the second floor, Chesterfield sofas, soft armchairs, and lush suspensions of colored fabric create a friendly and relaxed environment with industrial accents true to the origin of this former workshop. The concept store sells scarves, beanies, and toiletries for men by Neville as well as lamps by Danish designer Madame Stoltz and office products by the Japanese designer Midori.

The Food
Barber & Parlour has a simple and yummy menu including dishes like a grilled cheese sandwich with homemade ketchup or a broccoli, spinach, zucchini, and goat cheese salad. The kitchen is also open for breakfast and snacks; come throughout the day for fresh fruit juices and pastries, like the gluten-free brownie topped with red fruits.

For Kids
The informal spirit appeals to children; they can easily enjoy the comfortable and relaxing armchairs, leather sofas, and low coffee tables. The room is large enough to quietly slip your stroller between tables and the elevator provides easy access to any floor. The simple menu appeals to children with yummy choices like sandwiches and pastries. This spot is ideal for a snack among friends, with the kids, or a break with the family in Shoreditch

We Love …
… to take half an hour at the beauty salon on the third floor, enough time for a manicure or pedicure. During this time, the kids can take a tasty break with Dad, all snuggling calmly on a Chesterfield sofa.
