Jamie’s Italian : Les kids ont leur table à Picadilly

Welcomed with coloring books and a pair of special kaleidoscope glasses, kids are indulged at Jamie’s Italian. A friendly, three floor restaurant just steps from Piccadilly Circus which offers hungry families a feast in the afternoon or evening.

The Décor
Dark wood floors, upholstered benches, and large tables, Jamie’s Italian has room for families and greets them with a smile. Hams hang with garlands of garlic and shallots around the bar which dominates the middle of the main room. At dinner time, the restaurant is full and becomes noisy, if you are looking for a quieter meal, we suggest eating around 6pm.

The Food
The comprehensive menu is ready to satisfy everyone. The typical Italian dishes, Osso Bucco, truffle escalope milanese topped with an egg, are generous and rich. There is no pizza on the menu, but the pasta recipes are amazing, like the “rotolo”, rolls of vegetables and ricotta rolled up in pasta with tomato sauce. For dessert, the portions are similarly generous, we recommend sharing the delicious pavlova per with honey and chocolate.

For Kids
For once, kids have their own, specially designed menu, just for them, they choose their dish by looking through kaleidoscope glasses that they are given. A magnificent idea which enchants children– very effective for getting the children excited about their meal. If they are not addicted to the spaghetti bolognaise, they will love the organic, herbed hot dogs, or organic breaded fish fillets seasoned with lemon yoghurt sauce accompanied with rustic, crispy fries.

We Love…
… the attention given to little customers and vegetarian or gluten-intolerant eaters. The waiters are informed and the menu is specific and good for finding the right dish for every tummy.
