Wood-fired pizza, coffee that is always hot, and large pastries : there is nothing not to love about the family-sized brunch at Wanted, the huge trattoria found in the Halle Secrétan, in the 19e arrondissement of Paris.
The décor
The place is large (Halle Secrétan was an indoor market), but very warm and welcoming with all wooden walls, Native American rugs and animal hides on the floor, multi-colored furniture, tapestries with a western aura, a ceiling with steel pipes and wicker lights.
The brunch
Despite the American décor, Wanted is a trattoria but also a bar that hosts DJ sets all the time, has one of the nicest terraces in Paris, and most importantly a place where all-you-can-eat brunch is worth the detour. Begin with a large glass of fresh-pressed orange juice before going to dig into the extensive buffet. Savory side : delicious pizzas—hot out of the oven—that smell of truffle and chorizo, pasta salads, cubes of pecorino, bruschetta, frittata, charcuterie plate, eggplants and grilles zucchini, a true feast… And there is also the sweet : pastries, rich carrot cake, strawberry and cream tartlets, chocolate mousse, giant fruit salad. To drink and unlimited : tea, coffee, or hot chocolate.
For families
Here, show up as a group without a problem : there is a reduced price for the younger kids, a lot of space for the strollers and scooters, and a high chair is at your disposal.
We love the unlimited option –practical and delightful—and the space.
