The Royal Palm Marrakech: Upgrade Your Family Vacation in Morocco

Give yourself a break just a few hours outside Paris, take advantage of the Moroccan way of live in the heart of the breathtaking landscape and enjoy 5-star service for the whole family : let yourself be charmed by the Royal Palm, the youngest luxury hotel in Marrakech, which has thought of everything for an enchanting vacation with the kids.

The location
It is at the bottom of the snow-capped summits of the Atlas Mountains, 12 km from Marrakech, that the Royal Palm opened its doors in 2013. The estate stretches out over more than 230 green hectares, with a one-hundred-year-old olive grove, palm trees, a series of ponds, and spaces covered in flowers. Golf lovers are well attended to with a green of 18 holes, which offers an astonishing view of the mountain. A magnificent pool, three restaurants with exquisite, delicate dishes, and a radiant Clarins spa invites relaxation.

The décor
A blend of artisanal tradition and contemporary design, the layout of the hotel was approved by the decorator, Marilin Spataro. Oriental blue, thick carpets, traditional materials, lamps skillfully placed creating a subdued atmosphere and conducive to shared moments : in the rooms like in the lobbies, the decoration is refined and welcomes escape. The suites offer a rare view of the gardens and the Atlas Mountains in the distance, and are like warm cocoons where one likes to have a rest. The majority of the suites can accommodate at least a couple and a child (cradles and cribs are provided), and the family suites and villas, the most spacious, accommodate large groups in the best of conditions.

For kids
The group Beachcomber is known for their hotels, which are as elegant as they are family-friendly. The Royal Palm Marrakech makes no exception in bringing the best, especially when it comes to the care of the children. Upon their arrival, the kids are pampered with several small kindnesses : a plate of candies await them in the room, a small bathrobe and a mini coat-hanger are at their disposal in the dressing room, a special menu is planned within the room service menu… But the true attraction of the hotel lies in the Kids club, a 500 square meter space in an enchanting design, where a team of qualified professionals welcome the children from 3 to 12 years old. In the club, they can take advantage of a wooden tree house, sheep to climb on, a reading nook, a painting area, and furthermore mini booths to play merchant… Outside, the children enjoy their own small pool, shaded and supervised, and feed turtles who live in the garden. The cooking classes are organized every day (on the menu :  Moroccan crepes, cotton candy…), and at mealtime, the kids sit down at the table in their dining room decorated with exotic wallpaper…

We love the delicious hotel breakfasts. Fresh fruit, crepes on request, various breads and brioches, house yogurts served in pretty, ceramic glasses, but also a savory and sweet buffet and an assortment of gluten-free breads : a feast each morning, to enjoy on the terrace shaded by the olive trees.
