The Orange Hotel: chic pied-à-terre in London in the heart of Belgravia

In the heart of the Belgravia district with its posh buildings, on the chic Pimlico Road, you will find the Orange Hotel, a casual and charming place, which combines a pub, a restaurant and a hotel with four beautiful rooms. A distinguished and warm pied-à-terre for a few days in London with your family.

The decor
The area is opulent: elegant buildings, antique shops and art galleries line Pimlico Road. Orange Hotel, a member of the Cubitt House hotel collection, is settled in front of a florist with colorful displays and above a small shady square. Four beautiful, quiet rooms with lovely views welcome tourists, and a stopover is also possible for a lunch or dinner in the restaurant and pub located on the ground floor.

The location
As soon as you enter the front door, the English charm of this hotel is apparent. The palette of colors and materials chosen for the decoration is reminiscent of a country house from the beginning of the century: raw pine, olive and beige hues, beautiful old floors… In the rooms, the bedding is neat and comfortable, the baths are large and charming with rustic details (thick curtains, romantic headboards, exposed beams).

For the kids
Children are welcome at the Orange Hotel, where you are given a crib for the little ones to slide into your room at no extra cost. Beware however: the rooms are on the floor of an old house accessible via a narrow staircase. As for the restaurant, the kids will love the homemade pizzas, and the chef offers a half portion for the little ones.

Les Louves loves to spend a weekend with an infant in this refined pied-à-terre and book the Pimlico room, which has a beautiful view. Take a stroll through the neighborhood to the Victoria and Albert Museum, less than a half-hour walk from the hotel.

To discover
The Semmalina shop, 300 meters away, is a pretty tidy bazaar for children where toys, stuffed animals, costumes, clothes and little accessories are arranged around a very British candy and sweets bar. (225 Ebury Street, Westminster, SW1W 8UT London)

Daylesford, a chic, organic and ethical grocery store, which offers live products from its Gloucestershire farm, and even lets you enjoy them on-site at its kid friendly restaurant that only serves seasonal produce. (44B Pimlico Road, London SW1W 8LP)
